International Seminar

Next October 25th, 2016, International Seminar for the presentation of "Safecement” project will take place in hotel Nh Zurbano in Madrid (co-funded by European Union and within the framework of an initiative of year 2014: KA2, Education and Vocational Training Strategic Partnerships) which will be organised by Fundación Laboral del Cemento y el Medio Ambiente (Fundación CEMA).

During the seminar the 3D animation, that has been carried out in the project, will be presented, in which the most frequent risk situations within the European cement industry and preventive measures applied to them will be presented. These videos were developed based on the results of surveys on labour risks referred to various cement factories in Europe.

The project has also included other works: an analysis of the legislation on prevention of occupational risks of the participant countries involved in the project, gathering best practices in prevention of occupational risks of various European cement companies, a multimedia learning tool for training and development of a specific project website, through which everyone can access all the information:

"Safecement” has been developed by: Fundación CEMA (España), la Associação Técnica da Indústria de Cimento (Portugal), Chalmers Tekniska Hoegskola Ab (Suecia), SIA CEMEX (Letonia) and la Asociación Empresarial de Investigación Centro Tecnológico del Marmol, Piedra y Materiales (España) and it is co-funded by ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union.

The "Safecement” International Seminar will be an ideal opportunity to show the results of the project, which will be attended by professionals, both in academia world and workplace.

Given the limited capacity, the organizers will accept inscriptions in the order in which applications are received. Free registration here.
